Holas, este año fue súper especial para mi, un año lleno de cambios, muchísimas colaboraciones y trabajo trabajo trabajo, la mudanza a Londres, varias ediciones de por medio y haber conocido muchos nuevos y grandes amigos.
La canción Tiger Trap salió como single, esta canción significa mucho para mi ya que soy un gran fan de Duglas T Stewart y los Bandits y estoy súper agradecido que haya colaborado conmigo escribiendo la letra y cantando la canción y de paso incluyendo a Norman Blake también. La primera vez que escuche la canción con sus voces y arreglos (en el 2007! cuando la incluí en Picnic) lloré de felicidad.
Un día de Marzo me invitaron a colaborar en una canción para un álbum gratuito editado por Eardrumspop, y me había quedado sin pareja (ya que tenia que ser colaborativa) y los Onward Chariots también, así que Knut nos unió y bajo el nombre Leaving Rio trabajamos juntos en nuestra canción Vanish in The Sun (muy Brasileña!) que se incluyo en el álbum Between Two Waves. En el link esta el álbum para descarga gratuita, nos quedamos muy contentos con nuestra canción y Ben es muy majo!
Aparte estos días salió el single Chocolat de Cathy Claret junto a un video clip, ambas cosas producidas por mi, estamos súper contentos con la colaboración y esta es una aventura totalmente nueva para Cathy y para mi, y en el 2011 habrá muchas más, ella también canta en la canción Estaciones que esta incluida en mi próximo álbum. Y más nuevos amigos con los que colaboré recientemente para mi próximo disco, mi querida Lupe Nuñez-Fernandez (aparte de ser la mitad de Pipas miren su nuevisimo proyecto Amor de Dias con Al de Clientele!), Nigel (de Camera Obscura), Stu Kidd y Marco (de The Wellgreen, su nuevo disco acaba de salir!).
y... la canción The Christmas Family Tree acaba de salir también por el sello Much Obliged Records! Es una canción navideña que hicimos juntos con mi amigo Ally Kerr, estamos muy contentos que finalmente haya visto la luz y esperamos que a todos les guste, porque no?

Hello, this year was ultra special to me, a year of big changes, a year of lots of new collaborations and work, moving to London, releasing new music and making new friends.
The song Tiger Trap was released as single, this song means a lot to me since I am a big fan of Duglas T Stewart and the Bandits, and he was (and is!) so kind doing this song together and including/inviting Norman Blake too, the first time that I listened to the song (back to 2007 when it was included in Picnic) I just cried of happiness.
One day around March (?) I was invited to co-work on a song for a free album released by Eardrumspop, and I had not a partner and suddenly Onward Chariots need a partner too! so we came together under the name Leaving Rio for the compilation album Between Two Waves and made a very Brazilian song titled Vanish in the Sun, originally from Ben's previous composition. Check it out, I really love the song and the mood and his vocals are great!
Also this last month the single Chocolat of Cathy Claret and I was released together with a video clip, all produced by myself, we are very happy with the collaboration and this is a new adventure for my and for Cathy, more collaborations will come on this 2011 since she also sings in one of my new songs that will be included in my next album. More new friends that recently collaborate with my new album are Lupe Nuñez-Fernandez (look for her new project Amor de Dias with Al of Clientele!), Nigel (of Camera Obscura), Stu Kidd and Marco (of The Wellgreen, check their new album!).
And... the song The Christmas Family Tree was released on Much Obliged Records last week too! It is a spooky song we made together with my friend Ally Kerr, we are very pleased with this release and we hope you enjoy it too.
